Outline Outline is made from a polyacrylamide copolymer gel that attracts hyaluronic acid and the collagen and elastin precursors towards the injected area, enhancing the quality of skin and allowing the body’s own collagen to become incorporated into the gel mass. Longevity 2-3 years. Not available in the US but used in Europe, Asia and Australia.

Macrolane non-animal hyaluronic acid) manufactured by Q-med, is of greater density than Perlane and Restylane possibly lasting longer than either and is being studied for body contouring in Europe.

Radiance / RadianceFN / Radiesse calcium hydroxylapatite, (CaHA) microspheres suspended in polysaccharide gel; longevity being at least 2 to 6 years and is in the investigational stages for cosmetic use in the US.
Rofilan Hylan Gel This gel often called Hylan, or Rofilan is comprised of larger particle, non-animal, synthetically-made hyaluronic acid gel. This hyaluronic acid is supposed to last longer than any other hyaluronic acid. Not available in the US.
Zyderm and Zyplast Bovine Collagen injectable bovine collagen (cow) derived from calf skins. Available in different concentrations. Skin Test Required.
