of facial wrinkles on the forehead, around the eye, the mid
and lower face and the neck.
- NEW NON-INVASIVE
RADIOFREQUENCY TREATMENT IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE TRADITIONAL
FACELIFT (THERMAGE - THERMACOOL) The radiofrequency non-surgical
facelift is a non-invasive treatment that causes skin contraction
and tightening, leading to lifting of the face, brow, and
cheeks without surgery and without downtime.
- RF SKIN TIGHTENING
WAS HOT TOPIC AT LASER MEETING (THERMAGE - THERMACOOL)
Radiofrequency works by delivering radiofrequency heat energy
through a handpiece to the dermis, deep below the skin surface.
The heat causes subsurface tissue to immediately contract,
and then gradually tighten.
- THERMAGE COMPLICATIONS

- SKIN RESURFACING:
THEN AND NOW Chemical peels, dermabrasion and laser skin
resurfacing all achieve results in basically the same way.
Layers of skin are removed and, as healing progresses, a new,
healthier-looking skin emerges. What differentiates the various
resurfacing methods is the way in which the skin's layers
are removed.
- LASERS, SILICONE
CAN BE AN EXPLOSIVE MIX Resurfacing the skin with a carbon
dioxide laser is a popular way to erase wrinkles. But this
