WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov. 20 -- The Cosmetic Boot Camp, the nation's leading esthetic training symposium for specialty trained physicians, announced today that it will hold it summer '07 meeting in Aspen, CO on June 8-11th. Its location will once again be at The St. Regis Hotel.

"We are pleased that the St. Regis is able to work with us to host this event," says Dr. Mary Lupo, co-director of the meeting. "Given the high standards for hospitality and technical support, there are only a few facilities that can accommodate this level of meeting and the St Regis was high on everyone's list," Lupo says.

Dr. Vic Narurkar and Dr. Joel Cohen are Board Members of the Cosmetic Boot Camp and bring with them years of meeting planning experience. In addition, they are key leaders in the cosmetic dermatology community. They will share responsibility with Drs. Lupo and Beer for insuring that the meeting adheres to the high standards set forth by the mission statement of the organization.

The corporate sponsorship levels are already exceeding last year's numbers according to Dr. Kenneth Beer, one of the meeting's directors. "Fortunately, this meeting has become recognized by all of the leaders in the esthetic arena as the first and only meeting with the primary focus on education of specialists rather than churning out more 'needle drivers.'" Because of this emphasis, all of the companies that are presently involved, or that are contemplating entering, are in the esthetic market.

Faculty at the meeting will present information on new fillers, lasers, light sources, cosmeceuticals, thread lifts, botulinum toxins as well as marketing and patient care information. Leaders from every discipline within the esthetic specialty will be present to provide a comprehensive esthetic experience. Classes will be presented not only at the intermediate and advanced levels but also at an introductory level, enabling all participants to benefit. "We now have many physicians that are returning for the second or third year and one concern was the ability to expand our faculty and courses to accommodate these attendees," says Dr. Beer. He believes that the multiple choice course options as well as the industry sponsored single topic symposia will enable all levels of participants to benefit.

Also of note is the fact that The Cosmetic Boot Camp has entered into an agreement with MD Meetings to handle the logistics of the meeting. Dr. Beer says that "this will enable us to provide the type of organization that our faculty, attendees and corporate sponsors require." They will also assist with The Cosmetic Boot Camp for Office Staff meeting that will occur in Las Vegas in Oct. '08.
