LAS VEGAS, -- Today at the 9th International Symposium of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Mandalay Bay Resort, New York Facial Plastic Surgeon Andrew Jacono, M.D., F.A.C.S. presents his Abstract on a breakthrough cosmetic surgery procedure he pioneered to repair problems resulting from poorly executed face and neck lifts -- a growing issue in the field of facial plastic surgery.

The Reverse Neck Lift is a minimally invasive face lift surgery technique that corrects what is known as "cobra neck deformity" and hanging neck skin (or a turkey gobbler.) Dr. Jacono's Reverse Neck Lift is performed through a hidden incision on the undersurface of the chin. The incision lines are opposite the incisions used in a regular facelift (which are placed around the ears.) The procedure tightens the neck skin to enhance the overall result, with a minimal healing time of just three to five days.
