Smooth Away Your Wrinkles Without Surgery Introducing Vibrational Beauty Therapy
People who want to look younger but don’t want surgery or injections are

(press release from PRWeb)
Oakland, CA - April 17, 2005 -- People who want to look younger but
don’t want surgery or injections are taking advantage of a new non-invasive
facial rejuvenation treatment that uses small electrical impulses to stimulate
the collagen production of the skin, dramatically reducing fine lines and
wrinkles and improving skin tone.
Vibrational Beauty Therapy (VBT) is safe and relaxing, and there is no recovery
time. VBT uses the latest in microcurrent technology to restore the skin’s tone
by increasing circulation, detoxifying, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and
increasing hydration and nourishment.
“My patients love it,” says Sara Rankin, a licensed acupuncturist and owner of
Alma Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation Center in Oakland. “No needles, no
fillers, just a soothing one-hour facial massage using microcurrent technology.
After only one treatment my patients notice a reduction of fine lines and
wrinkles and an increase in the tone of their skin. Their skin immediately looks
more radiant and feels softer.” Rankin sees patients at her Piedmont Avenue
office for both the recommended ten-treatment course of VBT and for periodic
touch-ups. “There’s no bruising or reddening,” Rankin says. “People can go right
back to work, and they’ll look as if they’ve taken a refreshing nap.”
“At first I was skeptical, but after only one treatment, my face feels and looks
smoother. I’ve noticed a decrease in the fine lines around my eyes and could see
a definite improvement along my jaw line. The treatment was very relaxing, and
immediately afterwards, my skin had a very healthy glow,” says Kate a 48
year-old patient from Oakland.
During a session, Rankin applies a facial gel and gently massages acupuncture
points with low-level electrical currents. The treatment also includes a special
mud mask and a plant-based collagen lotion which is massaged deep into the skin
with microcurrents.
According to Rankin, ”the electrical stimulation promotes collagen and elastin
production, leading to firmer muscles and glowing skin.
Some of my patients use VBT to reduce wrinkles and repair damaged skin; others
use it preventively to keep their skin looking healthy.”
Rankin recommends a series of 10-12 treatments for optimal results, and to
sustain effects long-term monthly touch-up treatments are recommended.
There are non-cosmetic uses for VBT as well, notes Rankin. “Microcurrent is used
by acupuncturists to treat back pain, migraines, Bell’s Palsy and sinusitis.”
Alma Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation Center is located at 3382 Piedmont
Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611. To learn more about VBT, contact Sara Rankin at (510)
