Idebenone is the most potent and effective antioxidant for skin available in a cosmeceutical today!!

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.----Sept. 13, 2004--INAMED Corporation, a global health care company, and its partner Ipsen, a European pharmaceutical group, today announced that the trademark Reloxin(TM) has successfully completed the U.S. Patent and Trade Office examination process. As a result, Reloxin(TM) is now the brand name that will be used for the cosmetic indications of Inamed's and Ipsen's Botulinum Toxin Type A product. The product is currently in Phase III clinical trials in the U.S.

"Establishing the brand name Reloxin(TM) and the continued progress of the Phase III trials are key events for Inamed and are indicative of our success in advancing this critical project," said Nick Teti, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Inamed. "The Reloxin(TM) brand represents another step in the pursuit of our goal of having the most complete and dynamic portfolio of facial rejuvenation products."

The product is currently marketed and sold in over 60 countries by Ipsen under the trademark DYSPORT(R) for various therapeutic indications and is approved in 9 countries for cosmetic indications. Inamed has exclusive rights to gain regulatory approval and market the product for cosmetic indications in the United States, Canada and Japan.

Dysport(R) and Reloxin(TM) are an injectable form of sterile, purified botulinum toxin made from Clostridium botulinum toxin Type A hemagglutinin complex. Small doses of the toxin are injected into targeted muscles to prevent them from contracting.
